Twitter is testing out Twitter YouTube Videos Play Feature that will let Apple’s IOS users play Youtube Videos right in the Twitter app.
Twitter said that:
“Starting today on iOS, we’re testing a way to watch YouTube videos directly in your Home timeline, without leaving the conversation on Twitter”
Features of Twitter YouTube Videos Play Feature
At the present time if anyone clicks on the youtube video link then Twitter redirects that user to the Youtube app but with the Twitter YouTube Videos Play Feature Twitter will let you watch the Youtube videos right in the Twitter app.
At present time If we use to see Youtube video then the Twitter app left behind in the background but with this feature, you don’t need to leave the Twitter app like you are watching a youtube video on Whatsapp without leaving Whatsapp.

For Which Platform Twitter YouTube Videos Play Feature
Twitter YouTube Videos Play Feature will only be launched on IOS devices. This feature will not be available for android users.
Twitter said that they are testing for the IOS feature and not testing for android. But, they also confirmed that this feature will be launched for android also but the date of launch is not announced for android users.
When Will This Feature Launch For IOS
Twitter said that till they are even testing the feature and after testing is completed successfully this feature will be launched for IOS immediately.
Twitter said that only when the feature is working successfully then only it will be launched otherwise it will be tested again.
Twitter working on improving media-sharing experiences
Twitter is trying to improve the media sharing experiences via the app. Twitter also announced two new features that are still under testing.
The first feature is the uncropped media on Twitter both on android and IOS devices.
Twitter said that:
“Now testing on Android and iOS: when you Tweet a single image, how the image appears in the Tweet composer is how it will look on the timeline –– bigger and better”
Twitter is also working on the upload quality that will let users upload up to 4k quality.
